While I’ve been chomping at the bit for the audiobook version of The Fortunetelling Wizard to be released to retailers, I haven’t been idle.
Among other things:
I’ve approved cover art for two books and finished up some final edits.
I’ve written a short story.
I’ve been to a family reunion.
I’ve voted.
I’ve written a blog reflecting on the changing seasons and the nurturing of the soul.
I’ve gotten started on Christmas gifts.
I’ve read a book or two.
Mainly and mostly, I’ve been excitedly preparing a new series which features a rock-throwing, magic-filled young woman named Sha-li and whose first book should be available sometime after the beginning of the new year!
However, and in fact, thank goodness, you don’t have to wait until 2026 to meet her! For she’s introduced in Hol’s latest adventure – the very newly released 4th book in the series: THE MINOTAUR OF THE BENEL LABYRINTH!

Print book orders placed before and/or around December 6th are most likely to arrive in time for Christmas!
For those already in or willing to travel to the DFW area, a Book Release Party for THE MINOTAUR OF THE BENEL LABYRINTH is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM CST at Lucky Dog Books in Dallas (10534 Garland Road).

I know I keep saying this, but the audiobook version of The Fortunetelling Wizard is ever closer to being available! I’m checking the status as often as is healthy for me (ha!) and am crossing my fingers that the next time I check I can announce that it’s ready and can provide correlating links!
